Heavy Metal Music: Headbang to the Rhythm
Imagining a life without music is like a painting without colors. It is for sure that life would be meaningless if there was no music. There is not a single person who would say that he/she don’t love music or don’t have a favorite song. It is for sure that we are not perfectionist in singing but once in a lifetime everybody had sung a song in the private.
It would be an unbelievable statement that if somebody says that ‘I don’t like music’. It is a kind of music and the birth of heavy metal started in the early 70s. The heavy metal music progressed in the 80s and various fields were evolved from this type. Heavy metal music consists of guitars, drums with enhanced volume of bass guitars.
Those admirers of heavy metal music are known headbangers. This music is distinguished by different kind of loud music, guitar sounds, bass guitars and the lyrics are sometimes violent. Usually a metal band comprises of four people- A lead singer, one member at the bass guitars, third members handles the guitars, and the last member is drummer.
It is not necessary that the lead singer has to play an instrument. Heavy metal in itself has various styles like- Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Acid Rock, Soft Rock and Christian Rock etc. Nowadays with the advancement the bands have an option to use the most advanced gadgets from the electronic guitars to advanced keyboards. During any live performance the artists are more energized and they are more interactive with their fans. Heavy metal music is liked by a very small ratio of people as it is noisy and sometimes the violent lyrics are used so this type of music is avoided by some people.
During the live performance by any metal band the audience is very much involved in the music and this is justified through their constant headbanging and jumping. It is like their energy level increases and for that moment they just want to forget about all their problems and sorrows. Metal music cannot be defined in words it is just impossible and it enjoys its own identity. According to a study done by the expert heavy metal music can be very beneficiary for the youth. It is found by the experts that the youngsters who listen to heavy metal can handle the stressful conditions. You can be rest assured if your child is listening to heavy metal music.
As discussed above heavy metal music has different types from which underground metal is one. Underground metal consists of trash metal, black metal, death metal, and gothic metal. The trash artist actions and lyrics were much more violent as compared to the other metal bands prevalent. Here are some of the heavy metal bands- Exodus, Metallica, Mayhem, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath etc.
